An Unforgettable Birthday
Our Forest Adventure birthday parties have received rave reviews and are a very cool alternative to indoor play centres for children’s birthdays.
Den building challenge, nature trails, building a fire from flint, hotdogs and birthday cake around the campfire, marshmallow toasting, swings hammock…Discover the fun!
Our base camp in the forest has seating around the campfire for up to 30 children, a waterproof tarpaulin cover in case there is a shower, forest style tables for cake and food, hand wash facilities, swings & hammock to chill out on between activities!
BIRTHDAY PARTY INFORMATION
Overview.
The fun starts with a 10 minute adventure through the forest to base camp looking at cool things of interest i.e - edible plants, signs of red squirrels and other wildlife.
Arrive at base camp children have free time to explore base and have a go on rope swings, hammocks and check out some of the great spots for den building.
Main activity - Den building, an all- time favourite! Children separate into pairs/teams, each pick from a number of super cool spots in the forest to build a den with forest materials, sticks, then leaves and moss/ ferns for finishing. Mums & Dads (of the birthday child) can join in to! Then there is huge excitement for the water test, each team goes into their den, while the others watch on, the Forest Club leader then pours some water over their den to see how well waterproof it is!
Hotdogs , popcorn and orange cordial - lunch in seating/campfire area.
Cake and happy birthday (parents provide cake and candles) Children help to build and learn how to build a campfire from flint.
Toasted marshmallows around the campfire At the end of the birthday everyone gatherers around the cosy campfire for marshmallow toasting!
Great location for joint birthdays, all parents of the birthday children can come along, complimentary food and drinks, you can get stuck in and join the activities or simply sit back and chill out on one of the hammocks or by the campfire
Our birthdays are a drop off and collection event, for insurance reasons only the parents of the birthday children stay for the birthday, however if there is a specific reason the parent of a birthday guest needs to attend they may come along.
There are beautiful walks , bike trails and a cafe in Belmont for those who wish to wait on site while their child is attending a birthday. We have a member of staff at the barrier gate for ten minutes at drop off and collection time to let parents out so they don’t have to pay the €3 parking fee. Please be aware we can not allocate staff to the barrier gate beyond this time frame, those wishing to stay longer in Belmont will have to pay the parking fee. (A separate company to The Forest Club operate the car park and barrier and collect the parking fee)
Cost.
€20.50 per child which includes; Guided nature trail, activities, hotdogs, marshmallows, popcorn, squash drink + cups, all parents need to bring is the birthday cake and candles!
Complimentary food and drinks for parents of the birthday children.
Minimum booking or cost equivalent is 12 children.
Times & Booking.
Birthdays can be at either 10 am, 12.15 pm or 2.30pm (afternoon slot) and run for approximately 2.15 hrs.
All available weekend slots are available on the bookings page of our website (see tab above) if a slot is’nt visible it means it’s already booked.
Midweek afternoon birthday parties are at a time that suits you. they can start between 2pm - 3pm

Ages.
Birthdays are suitable for children from age four upwards. For insurance reasons, we are unable to accept bookings for participants under 4 years old.
PARTY BOOKING
A non-refundable (unless in the case of adverse weather) security deposit of €100 is required in order to secure your chosen date and time slot. The balance can be paid on or before the day of the birthday via cash, cheque or bank transfer. We will get back to you shortly with details on availability and related info.
